Friday July 1st and Saturday morning. I spent these days with my sister Mimi. She took me to her favorite chinese restaurant. Then we went for a walk in Nancy. In the evening we went to see Anne and family. They live between Nancy and Toul. Anne and her husband Stéphane expect a child for next year. Stéphane is a train conductor for the SNCF. Their daughter Clara is a darling. Laure and her husband Johan were moving to Valence near Lyon. Johan is a professionnal soccer player (goal tender) and will be playing for the Valence team. Their sweet daughter Lohan is just charming as can be. Alexander joined us. He is now an enlisted man in the 1st Infantery Regiment. The oldest such regiment in France. He is now in basic training. Very athletic and kind hearted, he will be a wonderful soldier. I met Célyne in Paris on Monday afternoon. She is studying to become a cosmetologist. A 2 year degree. We went to visit Notre Dame which she had never seen and for dinner in a Lebanese restaurant I know near the Gare du Nord. A great family.
